Pertinent Information
Groups are required to have one adult leader (aged 21 or over) for every nine youths under 18 years of age. Youths must always be under the supervision of an adult chaperone.
Please note, the Night Tour of Alcatraz has a limited visitor capacity each evening. For group bookings of the Night Tours, kindly reach out to the Group Services Department directly to request an information form. You can contact them at hello@alcatraz-experience.com
It’s important to note that independently guided tours are not permitted on Alcatraz Island. Only tours conducted by the National Park Service are allowed. Nevertheless, groups are encouraged to engage in the Cellhouse audio tour and partake in the regular park programs offered on the island.
To facilitate group reservations, it’s necessary to complete an application process. Please allow up to 30 days for the review of your application. Upon approval, you will be granted the authorization to make group reservations.
